nCino KYC RMCP Review Competition: Official Rules

  1. These are the official rules (“Official Rules”) for the competition (the “Competition”) conducted by nCino South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Sponsor” “we” or “us”) as set out below. Your entry into the Competition and/or your acceptance of a prize (in the event that you win a prize) constitutes your binding acceptance of the Official Rules. If you do not agree with these Official Rules, please do not participate.

  2. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE COMPETITION.

  3. How to Enter: To enter the Competition, register for the “Crafting an Effective RMCP: Key Elements & Common Failings to Avoid” webinar (“Webinar”) by accessing {https://kycafrica.ncino.com/crafting-an-effective-rmcp-key-elements-common-failings-to-avoid/} no later than 08 October 2025. After you register for the Webinar, virtually attend the Webinar from the start of the Webinar at 10:00 a.m. on 08 October, 2025 until the Webinar concludes at 11:00 a.m. on 08 October, 2025. All registrants that have attended the Webinar for forty-five (45) minutes or longer will be eligible to win. You may only enter the Competition once. If you access the Webinar via multiple devices, your name will be only entered once in the Competition.

  4. Eligibility:The Competition is open to ordinary residents of South Africa, eighteen (18) years of age and older as of 15 September, 2025, except for:
    • directors, partners, employees or agents of, or consultants to the Sponsor;
    • any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by, the Sponsor;
    • a supplier of goods or services in connection with that competition;
    • members of any of the immediate family of persons listed in paragraphs 4(a)-4(c) (including the spouse, life partner, or the natural or adopted parent, child, or sibling) or persons living in the same household; and
    • existing clients of the Sponsor, including directors, partners, employees or agents of such existing clients,
    • (collectively “Promotion Parties”). Any entries into the Competition by Promotion Parties are void.

  5. Drawing: A random drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor on or after, 09 October 2025 to select the winner of the Competition. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. After the Webinar, the Sponsor will contact the winner by email via the same email address used to register for the Webinar.  Should a winner remain uncontactable in respect of the Prize redemption for a period of seven (7) days from the date he/she is selected as winner, he/she will forfeit the prize and it will be allocated to another entrant. The Sponsor reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entrants. All taxes resulting from the acceptance of the prize are the responsibility of the winner. 

  6. Publicity: Acceptance of the prize by the winner also constitutes permission for us to use the winner’s name for marketing purposes without further compensation. The winner has the right to decline participating in any promotional activity or to object to his or her name being used by giving written notification to the Sponsor.

  7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering this Competition, entrants waive all right to, and hold the Sponsor and Promotion Parties harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this Competition or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. We will not be responsible for an entrant’s failure to receive prize notices due to entrant’s spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions; lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this Competition; by any human error by us which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Competition; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of these Official Rules, administration of the Competition, or announcement of the winner. If there is such an error, or any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the mechanism used to randomly select the winner, or if technical difficulties (including computer viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Competition, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify this Competition.

  8. Prize: The winner of the Competition will win a complimentary Risk Management and Compliance (“RMCP”) review in the form of an RMCP review opinion report (“Opinion Report”), outlining potential gaps identified against key obligations under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001. The review and resulting Opinion Report will be conducted and prepared by the Sponsor. Once confirmed, the winner will be responsible for providing their existing RMCP documentation which will be requested by the Sponsor. The RMCP documentation supplied by the winner must not be more than fifty (50) pages in length. Within fourteen (14) days of the Sponsor’s receipt of the winner’s RMCP documentation, the Sponsor will provide the Opinion Report. No substitution or transfer of the prize by a winner is permitted. If a winner forfeits the prize for any reason, an alternate winner will be selected by the Sponsor though a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded.

  10. By entering this Competition you consent to your personal data being transferred to the Sponsor and its service providers for the purposes of prize fulfilment. 

  11. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law, to change any detail of the Competition or withdraw the Competition, in whole or in part, at any time temporarily or permanently and without prior notice to entrants, and to interpret these terms and conditions in their sole discretion. The onus rests on the entrant to check the terms and conditions.

  12. Entrants who, in the Sponsor’s sole determination, act unlawfully, fraudulently, in breach of these Official Rules or otherwise dishonestly may be disqualified from participating in the Competition and shall not be eligible to win any prize. 

  13. The Sponsor shall not be responsible for any misrepresentation caused due to an unintentional copying error, typing error or an error by omission that may occur on any of its promotional material or social media in relation to this Competition.
     
     
  14. THE SPONSOR MAY AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION DECIDE THAT ANY ENTRY IS NOT ELIGIBLE DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE CONTENT OF THE ENTRY AND MAY DISQUALIFY A PERSON FROM THE COMPETITION.

  15. IN THE EVENT OF A DISPUTE, THE DECISION OF THE SPONSOR WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING AND NO CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERED INTO.

  16. Choice of Law and Forum: All matters arising out of or relating to this drawing and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of South Africa, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions. You further agree that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Competition and/or these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the High Court of Johannesburg, South Africa.
